OUR DEFINITION OF PROFESSIONALISM

“Professionalism is not the job you do, it's how you do the job”

One of the biggest issues faced by Agents is a lack of professionalism by VAs. A lack of competency, knowledge, integrity, and proper work ethic - all things we consider part of ‘professionalism’ - are some of the most common issues agents face. We put emphasis on professionalism, even when dealing with a virtual environment - something very few people do.

Competence

As a professional, you can take care of your work and do it well. Your skills meet the needs of your character and you often get results that exceed your expectations. That’s what competency is all about.

Competence not only means we’re good at what we do, but aren’t afraid to ask for help when we need it. Our internal management structure means our VAs always have somewhere to turn to for help!

Knowledge

A big pain point for a lot of Agents is hiring VAs that aren’t trained for the Real Estate sector. As a result, you may have to spend a considerable amount of time training them to become familiar with your workflows.

Our definition of professionalism involves the creation of detailed and relevant knowledge, compiling it into a central knowledge-base that allows our VAs to always have a reference to look back to. At every stage of the process, we try to master our role and continue to add value to your business.

Integrity

Honesty and integrity is the cornerstone of Professionalism. One of the major pain-points for agents is a VA not being completely honest or forthcoming with them with regards to their work - either as a way to mask their own incompetencies, or simply as a way to hide honest mistakes in an attempt to continue working with them

We earnestly believe in honesty as the best policy, regardless of the situation or the consequences of that honesty. We work hard to instill that same belief in our VAs.

Work Ethic

Work ethic itself comprises multiple facets, however the core amongst them: Discipline and Dedication are what we emphasize the most.

Discipline encompasses timeliness above everything else: Showing up at the correct time, never missing emails or meetings, never leaving things unfinished; these are just some of the things we try to imbue in our VAs.

Dedication, as the word implies, means total responsibility: Never misrepresenting work hours, working on tasks without being distracted and focusing on developing long term relationships with our clients.
